ESG & Social Contribution
“From the Field to the People,
Practicing Biosecurity for
a Healthy Society”
Contributing to Public Health
through Livestock Biosecurity
- As the first line of defense safeguarding the nation’s food supply, we lead efforts to prevent zoonoses such as avian influenza, Salmonellosis, and lumpy skin disease.
- We contribute to ensuring food safety and restoring public trust through hygiene management of layer farms, monitoring for egg pesticide residues, and guidance on antibiotic reduction.
Inclusive Biosecurity Services
for Vulnerable Farms
- Our Association provides free consultations and biosecurity support to vulnerable farming communities, including small-scale and marginalized farms, as well as elderly farmers.
- In the event of disaster-type diseases (e.g., lumpy skin disease or foot-and-mouth disease), we swiftly deploy trained biosecurity teams and equipment for emergency response.
Community Biosecurity
Campaigns & Education
- Our Association conducts biosecurity education and promotional campaigns in collaboration with local governments, schools, and regional livestock cooperatives.
- We host “Biosecurity Day” campaigns to prevent livestock diseases, featuring drone-based demonstrations and interactive training programs.
Nurturing Young & Female Talent
and Creating Jobs
- Our Association expands youth employment through the operation of the Biosecurity Safety Manager certification program and related educational support.
- We cultivate smart biosecurity professionals, including drone pest control specialists and hygiene inspection agents.
- We also promote greater participation of female veterinarians and field professionals, strengthening their leadership roles in biosecurity.
Promoting Animal Welfare
and a Culture of Respect for Life
- We develop and field-test biosecurity systems tailored for animal welfare–oriented farms.
- Our biosecurity manuals are continuously refined to reflect the value of life and welfare from the earliest stages of livestock care.
Creating Shared Social Value
through Public-Private-Academic Cooperation
- Our Association advances field-driven technology validation and social innovation through partnerships with government, academia, research institutes, and industry.
- We reinforce our public role in farm-level biosecurity and promote the dissemination of ESG-aligned technologies across the livestock sector.
